Rival 4-slice Toaster Oven

This toaster is crap. Throwing mine a way.
I originally bought this for use in a motorhome, but after my regular toaster broke it became used in my home. The first thing i noticed about this toaster is the awful chemical smell when in use. After 5 or 6 uses this started to diminish, but that wasn't exactly comforting. Also, it's pretty much the most uneven way to toast/cook food. You can't just put your toast in there and expect it to toast evenly. Left unattended you'd have a burned stripe in the middle of your bagel with either edge left completely un-toasted. The only way to get an even toasting requires that you toast, turn 90 degrees a quarter of the way through, half way through you turn the bagel over, then turn it 90 degrees again. Not worth it. Will be throwing it away as soon as my new toaster arrives.

Toasting burns everything
Does "OK" as an oven, but as a toaster it's just a ridiculously dumb design. The tray is too close to the heating coil on the bottom, it burns the bottom of anything you try to toast. If you try to put something tall in, the top will get burned as well.

There are 2 spots you can put the tray in, one so close to the top it'll burn the top, and the other too close to the bottom. I bet it would work just fine for bread had they made it so you could put the tray in between the 2 spots but it's poorly designed.

The only thing you can do is dial down the temperature setting to near 350 and keep moving your toast around, the actual toast setting just completely burns a stripe in the middle of everything.

F*cken Thing S*cks
This must be a completely different model than the previous one I bought at Wal-mart two years ago (lowest option, 20$ price) as this one fails to heat nearly as hot as mine did. Maybe the outlets at my new house don't supply enough wattage or something, but I've tried two separate outlets now and the toaster oven keeps turning on and off to stay at a heat that is no where near 400, but possibly 300 degrees.
