A good popcorn for less money
If you're a freak for gourmet popcorn, you've probably looked around for a good source and found, as I did, that you can find good popcorn but shipping is always really expensive. It's difficult to say whether this is because popcorn is heavy or the makers are charging a premium to boost profits. What I do know is that this popcorn, while still expensive to ship, is a good deal.
You should know in advance that this popcorn is best cooked with a little extra oil than you might normally use. The kernels are large and thirsty and the extra oil adds the right amount of flavor. I use about 1/2 cup oil with 4/5 cup of kernels which yields a rather large bowl of tasty popcorn.

If you're wondering, I usually buy Yellow Topaz from Crown Jewel Popcorn. They charge $14.25 for 2 lbs plus $8.13 for shipping. That's $22.38 total for 6 pounds of popcorn.
