Deluxe Babycakes Nonstick Coated Pie Maker with Cross Cutting Tool

Fun kitchen appliance
I remember when the original Baby Cakes cupcake bakers came out. I thought they were ridiculous. I couldn't imagine why anyone would want one when there are muffin pans and ovens. And then I received a counter top Pig-in-the-Blanket-Maker at Christmas from a coworker. It worked so well I became obsessed with getting all the varieties of counter-top bakers I could find.

This is not the perfect appliance - if such even exists. It is a fun little machine that allows you to make from one to four pies at a time. It's a very generous one-serving dessert or snack, or enough for two people to have a few bites after a meal. At our house, Texasman (the sweet eater) gets tired of a whole cake, or a whole pie or a whole batch of cookies. This allows me to make a couple of servings for him with no waste. And they are really cute.

It includes a crust cutter to cut the correct size for the crust that fits into the four cavities, and a tamper to press the crust into the...

Not as easy as it looks.
Looks really good in the pics and the other reviews were good, but......... Maybe I received a defective product. After trying all the "tips" to make this cook evenly I just can't get it to make a decent mini pie. The edges become very dark brown and the middle of the pie is undercooked. I had high hopes and I am very disappointed.

Love It!!
This is so easy to use and my children love to have their own little pies. AS parent of a child with allergies and others that do not this is perfect for making everyone the kind of pie they want!!!
