Great for kids ravioli
I was looking for a raviolini maker to make small ravioli for my kids. I was shocked when I first got this because the pan was so small and the ravioli so little. Still, I gave it a whirl. They cook up bigger than they look, and stay remarkably closed. I used a piping bag to fill them, and it does take a little practice. Also, they don't really cut themselves well with the included roller. However, I discovered you are better off using the roller to cut out the perimeter, and then use a pastry cutter to make the final cuts on the ravioli once you have dumped out the sheet. Much quicker. Also, don't waste your time using cooking spray to make these nonstick. It just makes them wet and then a horrible mess. Dusting with plenty of flour is the only way to go.
They sure are cute and the kids loved them.
ravioli pan
I was not impressed with this pan at all. It was too small. Great and fast service and I appreciate that very much.
